What you see vs what I see through the camera is very different. I have had clients in the past leave with nervous butterflies that the session didn’t go well. I always tell them, that I got what I needed and I am able to capture things that they can’t see. So I wanted to show you some behind the scene shots today to show you that what you see and what I see is different and that if you trust your photographer, you will have some very beautiful images! (Thanks Jackie for these behind the scene shots!)
Ella’s grad session was so fun! We had to fight the wind at one point, but with the wind and the rain, it made for some pretty epic photos! You can see in these photos that Mom’s BTS (Behind the Scene) shot was dark and looked pretty miserable. BUT you can see that the final image was just epic! If you are willing to embrace the elements and go with the flow, it will show in your photos.
Note that for this photo we had Ella’s boyfriend close by with the umbrella so after a minute or so we covered Ella to protect her hair and make up as best we could.
Once again, you can see that Mom’s shot was dark and we were on the side of a road. Most people would thing that isn’t the most beautiful spot but the end result was so beautiful with the greenery and the hill behind Ella!
This last one is just me showing Ella what I wanted her to do. Yup, I look a little crazy, but as long as I look “crazy”, my clients will loosen up and trust the process. And when then trust the process, beautiful images WILL happen!
