Christmas mini’s was something that I haven’t done up until Dec 2019, and I wanted my first Christmas mini marathon to start off with a bang! And it was AMAZING!!!! I borrowed this amazing teal vintage truck the owners call “Mater” and got them to park it down in the beautiful Walkamow area in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Mater made everyone smile who came out for the sessions! I borrowed some greenery, birch sticks and a stunning winter wreath from the talented Flower Station in down town Moose Jaw. It was the perfect addition to the vintage props I borrowed from a friend. My friends also had a vintage sled, a full antler set, old logs, an old milk containers and several rustic clay (at least I think they were clay) jars all that I could borrow that were all perfect addition to the vintage truck. I added cozy blankets, pops of traditional red colors, fax fur pillow, and accent pillows with deer on them. Yup, everything pulled together for a super cute Christmas mini backdrop for this year!
I did two days of sessions and it was so fun! Day one was cloudy, and day two was sunny. So it was so fun that both days the set up was the same but it weather gave each day a different feel. So that was fun for me. 🙂 Both days had a variety of couples, families, and kids only, and the variety of that was so much fun for me to photograph! Stay tune for the couples blog posts coming soon. At the end of this post is the link to day one of the sessions if you want to take a peek.
I want to give a shout out to the amazing vendors and people that lent me props for the session!
Vintage Truck: Alvin and Lana – A huge thank you for letting us borrow “Mater” for the weekend!!!!
Props: Arlene and Doug – Thank you for letting me borrow some amazing vintage props! They were so adorable! Lindsay and Laura for use of their pillows. Sheri for the use of a fuzzy blanket.
Now for some super cute families! But first off these families I just have to show off my kids! As a photographer, it’s so much fun to get professional photos of my kids as honestly most of them are on my phone. Yup, it’s true. So it was great to get my beautiful kids in front of my big camera! So enjoy! 🙂
Thank you again Flower Station for the beautiful wreath for these sessions! If you are looking for a wreath for next winter, check them out!
