Nick contacted me about gifting an early anniversary/family session for his wife Jess this past summer! I was so excited for a few reasons. First, I photographed their first maternity session and baby session so it was going to be fun to see them again. Second, I would get to meet their sweet little lady. And third, I love it when husbands purchase the gift of photography for their wife and arrange it all! Such a thoughtful and lasting gift! (Hint, hint hubbies!)

I met this beautiful family down in Walkamow, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan later this summer for a perfect family/couples session! The temperature was wonderful, there weren’t to many bugs, the light was so pretty (golden hour win!), and this family was so full of laughter and love that our time together just flew by!

Nick and Jess’s anniversary is today, October 13th! And I wanted to make sure to share some of the photos of just the two of them on their anniversary! You just have to scroll below to see them. Funny thing is that their kids were literally right beside them in most the photos. But for me, in any family session it’s super important to capture photos of just parents. Focusing on marriage is so important so it’s super fun to capture parents just having fun together! Even if it is just for a few minutes of them running through the field to snap a couple of pics!
