These four words are what I strive for at each photo session! They are core of why I do what I do! I hope that your images are full of joy, that they are genuine and authentic to you, that they will be a legacy and stand the test of time, but most of all, be filled with love for those you are getting your photos with!

My objective during a photo session (doesn’t matter if that is an elopement, to family to grad photos) is to capture those moments that we all experience, the ones when you look at your child and smile and think to yourself that there has seriously never been a cuter thing in the history of the world. I want to capture what you see! Those moments as a family before they grow up on you. Even through at times your son seems to have come from a different planet and you wonder when the mother-ship is coming back to get him. Or your daughter thinks she is the newest Disney princesses waiting for her prince charming to come to the door with her glass slipper. Or your son or daughter all dressed up in their graduation outfit ready to take on the world. Or your fiancee is just looking a goo goo eyes at you the whole time. I’m trying to photograph you guys and push pause by capturing what makes you so special and unique. I want to capture the beauty of the people you love most in a way that you feel and see them. I look forward to working with you and your family and creating images that you will love and always cherish.

Booking Process

You can find my information in a few places: my website, Instagram or Facebook. If you think we would be a good fit, you can inquire through any of these places or emailing me at hello@krystalmoorephotography.com. I will send you over a website price guide within 24-28 hours from the inquiry. If you don’t hear back from me right away, be sure to check your spam email box because sometimes my emails have been known to go there.

Making it Official

Once you take a peek at the guide and if we are a good price point fit, you let me know what collection you want to go with. (There are 2-3 to pick from each category.) I will send over a welcome/confirmation email with some basic information in so we can plan a date and then send over the non refundable deposit invoice. Etransfer is the best want to get that deposit in to me to make your session official!

Then I will send over a questionnaire so I can get to know you better and make sure we cover any information that you want to include in your session. (“must have” shots, locations, etc).  I love reading the answers to these questions! They really help me figure get to know you even before the session starts!

Scheduling

I will give you my recommendations for the best start times for different times of the year depending on the collection you choose. Working with your schedule is important to me so we can plan around any nap times or activities while getting the best light for photos. I prefer to shoot when the sun is lower in the sky to avoid harsh shadows and bright sun patches. The first two hours after sunrise is also an ideal time to shoot.

I will also give some recommendations for locations depending on what type of background you are hoping for (nature verses urban verses rustic, etc) based off of the answers of the questionnaire.

The Session

On the day of our session, I will most likely be wearing a messy bun, (haha) and we will meet at the set time and location and start snapping right away. I will direct you with both traditional poses and prompts to create some pretty wonderful moments that will capture a variety of images. Family, extended family and grad sessions last from half an hour to an hour depending on collection chosen. 

We will start with the most important photos that you requested and go from there! (Especially when there are kids involved!)

Our session will be low and stress and fun, with a mixture of natural candid and traditionally posed photos. I will work hard to help you feel at ease and find those real moments that you share with your family. And don’t worry, it’s normal to feel nervous at the beginning. That feeling will disappear by the end of the session.

Being a mother of 2 myself, they have given me the patience and understanding needed to photograph little ones! I’ve been told I have made some pretty goofy face, silly sound effects, told corney jokes, and have done some pretty crazy dance moves to get kids attention. (haha) For the older child or impatient family member, I will do my best to make it fun and enjoyable.

You will receive teasers from your session on social media (my Instagram and Facebook) within 2-3 days after your session.  If you have requested your images to remain private, I will email these teasers to you.

The Proof Gallery

Your unique and beautiful online proof gallery will be emailed in one to two weeks after your session. You get to pick out the specific number of photos you want me to edit depending the collection chosen. They will have a copyright information on it because in the past I have had trouble with people downloading low quality proofs and not getting their final high quality images. (The copyright info will be taken off for the final gallery.)

PLEASE NOTE: The faster you pick your images the quicker you can get your final products!

You can also purchase extra enhanced images or products at this time.

Final Online Gallery

The final products will be delivered through your online gallery.  From there you will be able to download all the images, share your gallery with those proud parents or grandparents, and order prints, greeting cards (THIS IS NEW!) and canvases that will be delivered directly to your home!  This gallery is beautiful, user friendly and the best thing since sliced bread! 🙂

Online gallery is available for 1 year lifestyle sessions (family, grad, couples, maternity) and for 2 years for elopements. (So be sure to download your images during that time. I can reupload the gallery but there will be an additional cost for that.)

Ordering Products (Prints, Greeting Cards, Canvases)

I’m a big believer that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. Yes, I have hard drives, and back up images of my own photos, but I do print off my family photos to display in my home in a variety of ways and I hope you do too! From your online gallery you have the option to purchase prints, greeting cards and canvases right there! You don’t have to try to figure out exactly what images you want to print, or what combo you want to combine them with in a different print companies app.

And what makes this one stop shop so awesome, is you can see your photos as the products to help you pick!

Testimonials

After you have received your final gallery, I will send out a testimonial email. This will be a questionnaire that will help me plan for future sessions, check in to see if I could have made any changes or keep doing what I’m doing, and to get a testimonial from you that I could add on my website and social media so I can photograph more amazing people like you! 🙂 Also at this time, I will ask if you could also post a review on Google and Facebook as this helps me with my getting my business to the top of search pages.
