Skip tradition and why not consider an elopement?! That is what Doug and Shan did! They were married in March 2019 at a beautiful elopement session in Saskatoon and then had a celebration with family and friends later that August! But between these two beautiful days, they were asked by the Sage and Dust photography workshop to come and be models for us participants for an evening styled elopement session.
I loved hanging out with Doug and Shan! They were so adorable together and just radiated so much love! You could just see their love pour from every inch of their bodies. A favorite moment from this part of their session was the soft and romantic times when Shan would gently hold Doug’s face in her hands. Swoon!
The modern wedding has changed. Elopements are one of the biggest trend revivals to hit the wedding industry in the past couple of years. From mountain tops to city hall, couples are running away to get married in private. If you are interested in having an elopement in Saskatchewan. Check out Sask Ever After’s blog post all about “How to Elope in Saskatchewan.”
Enough with the chit chat, let’s get to the photos!
