I hate heights. Every time I watch something that has to do with heights, get to close to an edge or even talk about heights, my toes start to curl and my heart starts to race. But this past September long weekend, I voluntarily put my fears to the test.
Blue Mountain Adventure Park is located just out side of North Battleford, SK and is the perfect location to get out in nature and try somethings that you may never had the chance to do before. From zip lining to cross country skiing, from paintball to canoeing and SO much more, they have activities for every age! Check out their website listed below for a full list of their winter and summer activities! They also have super cute cabins to rent or you can bring your own tent and trailer. Have your next family reunion there or a weekend away full of adventure for your family or just fun getaway for you and your spouse. There really is so much to do there and I highly recommend it!!
One the newest things to do there is their new high rise course or what they call the Aerial Course. This is an exciting and challenging activity for youth and adults in
which you test your physical, mental strength, agility and balance.
Challenge on a two level Aerial Course by completing the obstacles high
above the ground! And it is high! My toes were definitely curling but I am proud to say that I did both the bottom and top layer! (It sure helped that you are tied off!) I wasn’t going to do it after I climbed the stairs because it was so high, but my oldest did first level so if she could do it, I had to! And once you get going it isn’t as scary as you would think. 🙂 They even have a little ground layer that young kids can do! So it really is great for the whole family!
So check out my extended family and their adventure on the Aerial Course! And then go book your stay at Blue Mountain and try it for yourself!
Not only does Blue Mountain Adventure Camp have this amazing high rise course, but there is axe throwing, paintball, archery, zip lines, canoeing, wall climbing, and an obstacle course for their summer activities. In the winter you can go skiing, skating and tubing! Blue Mountain is also known in the winter for their biathlon course.
