With a love of the Disney movie “The Little Mermaid”, Justine and John’s engagement session was straight out of a fairy tale!

For both Justine and John, their love felt like a connection that you would see in a movie, one where they look at each other and there as a literal spark!

John proposed when their families went camping at Douglas Provincial Park. They went down to the water with all of their family one morning and John had Justine sit on a walk by the water. The family was busy away just snapping photos. (but little did she know they would be there for a proposal!). John pointed in the water and asked her “what is that”. She saw something under the water but apparently that was just something in the light. The next thing she knew, he dove into the freezing water, stood up, started to walk back to Justine, got down on one knee in front of her and asked her to marry him! The ring was in a seashell in his pocket the whole time. The dive was just for drama. And spoiler alert, Justine said yes! 🙂

Justine and John’s winter wonderland session was at the tail end of a super cold snap in Saskatchewan. These two rocked their chilly session day in beautiful formal attire! With a love of Disney princess movies, Justine picked the perfect dress for their session! Her maroon flowy dress just popped off the snowy background and John matched Justine’s beautiful formal style with his own suit!

Fun fact: Justine’s engagement ring was even a Ariel inspired ring with it’s own little clam shell on it!
