I have always loved the mountains! Being a prairie girl who is able to see for days (haha) does have it’s charm and beauty but there is just something that makes my heart sore when I am in mountains! They are so beautiful! I love going on hikes in the mountains and forests! The smell, the scenery, everything, it’s stunning and so refreshing! So when I found this location by Moose Jaw that looked like a forest I was so pumped! I have called it “the Saskatchewan Forest” and it’s so pretty and you feel like you have stepped into the mountains!

Patti and Charles have an amazing grown up family! They have three beautiful kids, Matthew, Jordan and Haley who have the best laughs and such a love for their parents and siblings! So it was such an honor to be asked to photograph Patti and Charles family when they were all home this summer.

My cheeks hurt after this session because the kids and Brett, Jordan’s boyfriend, were all poking fun at Charles! And oh my, it was so funny! They all had the best sense of humor and the best laughs! And when I got Patti and Charles to do a few poses together, the kids just “oohed and awed” over their super cuteness! It was so sweet to watch!
