It is such an honor to be asked to take photos at a place that is unique and special to my clients. This past summer I went to Diefenbaker Lake at Elbow, Saskatchewan to take photos of Josh and Erika’s wonderful family! And it was PERFECT!
Josh and Erika bought a trailer spot by Elbow for their summer adventures. She told me that having photos at the lake during their first summer there would be so meaningful and so fun to look back at the summer when it all started out there. And I have to agree! I LOVE it that they are creating memories with photos to bring them back to these first moments out there!
We originally had another day, but had to postpone it due to smoke, but the day we went was so good! A beautiful summer day, with a little hazy sunset which made for a very neutral and stunning background.
The beach that they always go to was perfect! There was no other people around (yeah for no editing out people or their stuff) and “their beach” had a Caribbean feel! So unique and beautiful!
It was so fun to see Josh and Erika’s family having fun together! Yes, we got the traditional looking at the camera photos, but we also got photos of them hang out, playing in the water (diving in!) and even ended up getting a little muddy! This is what photos are all about! Making memories with the people you love most with photos to bring back the memories! Thank you for having me capture this super fun and wonderful memories!
Enjoy an evening on the beach with Josh and Erika and family!
