“We haven’t had family pictures for about 9 years with the exception of some vacation shots with my entire family.” You would be surprised how often I hear that people haven’t had an official session in “X” amount of years! So when they book a session, it gets me so excited because I know their photos will be apart of their legacy for years to come!

Beric and Lori’s family session was just so wonderful! We went out to the “Saskatchewan Forest” (I call it that because it’s a big clump of trees in the middle of nowhere! haha!), which was the perfect location for this family! The jewel tones of their outfits just matched perfectly with the location!

I have borrowed Lori and Beric’s home on several occasions for some photo sessions, so it was great to get them in front of the camera. They all had such a gentle spirit and caring spirit about them! We even ended the session with a few photos with the dirt bike for their oldest son! (And Beric had to rip around on the bike too!) Coming from the farm, this felt like I was photographing my brother doing his skidoo jumps. I felt right at home with this wonderful family!
