I’m catching up on some past sessions and had to share Alex and Kyle’s fall family session at Wakamow Park. This session was extra special for me because Alex is my cousin, and it’s been such a joy to photograph her family over the years. Each time we meet, it’s such a fun experience, and capturing their connection is always a hoot!

This particular day was a grey and overcast one, but that didn’t slow down the beauty of the session at all. With the neutral tones of the park and the warm fall colors of their outfits, the family truly popped against the backdrop. The muted reds, browns, and creams worked perfectly with the environment, creating a soft and cohesive look while highlighting their personalities and connection. It’s a great reminder that even on a cloudy day, thoughtful styling and natural surroundings can make a session feel warm, vibrant, and timeless.
