Today I have to share McKena’s grad session at the unique location – Claybanks Brick Mine which about 45 minutes outside of Moose Jaw. This location has a badland vibe that is truley unique to the area around Moose Jaw.
This family is awesome, and it was such a treat to photograph McKena here, especially since I had the joy of photographing her sister, Myah, at this same location a few years ago. It was fun to return to this stunning spot for McKena’s grad and see it come alive in a whole new way! You can see Myah’s grad session here!
McKena’s purple dress was an absolute showstopper against the neutral badland vibes of the background. The full, flowing gown moved beautifully as she walked and twirled. If you’re thinking about incorporating movement into your photos, a dress with lots of flowing fabric is key.
We also climbed the hills to capture some amazing elevated views, adding a dynamic perspective to the session. To finish things off, McKena brought a second, cute little sundress for a more playful, relaxed vibe and it was the perfect way to add variety to her gallery. This session was full of energy, color, and fun, making it such a memorable grad experience! One of my favs!
