Kim and Paul’s spring golden hour maternity session was picture perfect. The soft, warm light of the setting sun, blooming greenery, and gentle spring breeze made the perfect backdrop for capturing this special season in their lives. The last time I photographed them, it was their elopement in the middle of winter, so it was such a joy to see them now in this completely new stage of life, glowing with excitement and anticipation.

Since this maternity session, they’ve welcomed a beautiful little baby, and I had the honor of capturing their newborn session as well. Seeing them step into parenthood was such a joy. Their love and connection just overflowed, and it was clear they are going to make amazing parents. Moments like these, following a couple through so many milestones, are exactly why I love what I do—watching their story unfold and capturing the beauty in each chapter. (Note I am no longer accepting newborn sessions.)
