I’m officially calling myself out, I’m about a year behind on blog posts, but this session was way too special not to share now. JJ and Jess’s family session took place out in Buffalo Pound, and it was such a beautiful, peaceful location. The trees, open space, and quiet prairie vibes made it feel like a little hidden escape just outside of Moose Jaw. Being out there reminded me how much I love this spot, which is why I’ll be heading back to Buffalo Pound in the fall for mini sessions! If you are interested in these, you can sign up here!
This session was extra meaningful because it was the first one with their new son, and getting to capture that season for them was so special. JJ is my husband’s brother, so this family holds a huge place in my heart. I’ve had the honor of photographing their growing family over the years, starting with their engagement session and wedding day, and continuing as their story has grown. These sessions feel less like work and more like documenting life for people I love, and I’m so grateful I get to be the one trusted with their memories!
Take a peek at their last session when there were only the three girls.
