Ashley and Jordan’s engagement session last spring at the “Sask Forest” was such a special one to capture. I had the honor of photographing their wedding later in November (stay tuned for that post), but these two already held a special place in my heart long before that. Ashley’s parents are two of the kindest, most giving humans I know. I knew that if her parents were that amazing, Ashley would be just as sweet. It was easy to see that their wedding would be overflowing with love, family, and joy. Plus, Ashley and Jordan got engaged at Disney World, which instantly gave us a shared love of all things Disney and made our session connection even more fun!

Even though it was a super windy day, the trees at the “Sask Forest” were the perfect shield, letting us focus on their love without battling the gusts. They brought their dog along, which added so much personality and warmth to the session, and they even did an outfit change, making their photos unique and memorable. Between the cozy forest backdrop, their laughter, and the little personal touches they brought, this session perfectly reflected their fun, loving, and adventurous relationship.
