For the 5th year, I have hung out with about 400 teens plus volunteers on New Years Eve to ring in the new year! Voltage is an all night youth party created and put on by Joe’s Place Youth Center here in Moose Jaw, Sask. This party is to keep youth safe and keep them from doing something they would regret and have a space that is just for them, geared to them and something that they will remember!

The Event

They have a WIDE variety of events and rooms just decked out to keep kids entertained all night! Voltage features Bazooka Ball, axe throwing, inflatables, art contests, karaoke, an arcade, Gagaball, 9 Square and VR as well as cute, fuzzy animal guests.  And… Juno-Award-winning band, The Color, rocked the house once again. 

The Cast

A cast & crew performed a multimedia production live on New Years Eve. The annual Voltage Multimedia Production made possible by the Media Alliance team at Joe’s Place Youth Centre! This production was originally presented live, just before midnight with a powerful message. You can watch the full video here!

Juno Award Winning band The Color came back for another year to bring in the New Year! These guys know how to put on a good show!
