Sasha and Jose’s family session that was overlooking Moose Jaw at Golden Hour was straight out of a storybook!

I was so excited to photograph this session! Sasha first messaged me about the dream for her family session, she wanted a golden hour vibe that had that warm feeling! We had to postpone the session a few times due to weather and sickness, but one a beautiful spring evening we made it work! It was such a beautiful evening – no wind, no bugs and that sun was stunning!

As I was photographing this session, I noticed a super sparkly ring on Sasha’s finger and she informed me that Jose proposed to her earlier that week! So exciting! So we had to capture a few extra photos of Sasha and Jose at the end when their son was done with photos. 🙂

Talking about their son, oh my, Mr M was just a little charmer! His little smile would light up the room! He liked showing off his “cheese” face and playing with the bubbles that his parents brought!

We have to take just a moment to chat about their outfits! It was the perfect mix of casual but elevated! Sasha had a beautiful flowy material dress in a neutral color which went well with Jose’ button down collared shirt. Mr M’s little outfit tied his parents outfits together with the similar color tones. There was visual interest with the textures of the materials in these outfits and with the simple patterns in Mr M’s outfit. These three were just so adorable and dressed perfectly for their golden hour family session!
