Beach sessions are coming soon! Today I wanted to share Chris and Kristi’s adorable beach session from last year! This session was out at Buffalo Pound, Saskatchewan and was the perfect setting for this adorable family!

I photographed this family a few times, and each time I am left with a smile on my face. These guys know what genuine joy is – the love of their family! 🙂 Want to see their last family session? You can check it out here!

Chris and Kristi’s Buffalo Pound Family Mini Session was the perfect example of what to wear at a session! Check it out!

This family ROCKED it with their outfits! The muted purple and grey tones went so well with the water and sand colors! They added visual interest by the different material and shapes of the outfits. From a flowy material of Kristi’s dress, to the cotton dress with a slight pattern that their oldest wore, to the adorable romper with a bold pattern that their youngest wore that went with Chris’ casual button down and jeans. This family nailed it!

If you have questions with outfits for your sessions, being a photographer comes with the title of stylist – so ask away or send me photos of your outfit choices before your session! OR you can check out my “What to Wear” blog post here. My biggest tip is be in the same color tone family, but don’t match exactly! Add a little variety with textures, tones and material.
