Aubrey and Jesse’s golden hour spring engagement session out at Buffalo Pound was AMAZING! It was picture perfect! We started out at Nicolle Flats, and then went down and played in the water and then ended up on the top of a hill right at as the sun set!
I first met Aubrey and Jesse a few years ago. I wanted to try out a new location so I asked Aubrey and Jesse and they were thrilled. You can see that session out at the “SK Forest” and Besant Campground here. Since then, I have met Jesse’s bother (photographed his proposal), and the rest of their family! And they are all just as awesome as these two!
Tips for a successful engagement session
Here are some tips for your engagement or couples session:
Have a second outfit – this will add more variety to your session
Go to a new place or your fav place
Get your hair and make up professionally done – it looks amazing on camera!
Prepare for the weather (bring a blanket or umbrella)
Bring champagne for a champagne spray celebration
Be prepared to have fun!
Aubrey and Jesse, congrats on your engagement and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year! Your golden hour Buffalo Pound engagement session was one of my favs! (FYI – that will be the last official wedding I will photograph – so it will be a fun one!)
