On the most perfect evening, I photographed Mandy and Chad’s engagement session and family session on a bridge south of Moose Jaw. Later in the session we drove back into Moose Jaw for a few other locations around town.

Chad proposed with putting Mandy’s ring in a beer, so it was so fitting for them to bring along some beer to celebrate! Plus, anytime is a great time to do a toast – even during photos! Here is their proposal story as told by Mandy:

“Chad and I went to our favourite bar in Regina….Leopold’s Tavern (Leo’s east) after a long day. We ordered a beer but my beer was the last one in the keg and it was flat. Chad asked me which beers were on the tap list and because I can’t see very well I got off of my chair to walk over and read it. When I got back, I picked up my beer and noticed there was something in it. I thought maybe it was a key ring or something at first. I picked up my beer and said (like the class act that i am..) “What the fuck is in my beer?!” I looked closer and noticed what it was! I looked across the table at chad in disbelief and he said “will you?”. I said of course! I nearly jumped across the table to kiss him and wrap my arms around him! I had to chug my flat beer to get to ring at the bottom of my glass!! It was great!!”

Mandy brought her two kids along to the engagement session to update their family photos! Her kids were did such a great job and had a fun time with photos! Even Mr J was letting me know how he should pose. 🙂 And Miss Z just radiated on camera! After their session they went out for a family date for supper! What a perfect way to end a fun photo session!
