A greenhouse wedding with 30 of your closest family and friends is the perfect way start the next chapter of your life together! Paige and CJ were married on a beautiful warm summer day on July 1st at the Windmill Greenhouse here in Moose Jaw, Sk. To be able to witness these two saying “I do” was such an honor and a privileged, especially during a world pandemic.
Their day started off with the ceremony out on the lawn at the Windmill Greenhouse. It was super unique how Paige’s dad brought her to the ceremony location….it was a…. well for that, you will just have to scroll to see! The ceremony was so intimate, and I was able to witness a really neat ring ceremony that I haven’t actually seen before. They passed the rings around to each of the guests, where they gave a blessing to the couple! So beautiful!
After the ceremony we did family photos at the ceremony location and then Page, CJ and I went down into Walkamow for their portraits. During my correspondence before the wedding I asked if there was a background that they would like and Paige said she loved the mountains and due to covid, they had to make some adjustments to their wedding. So I found the most mountain feel trees I could in Moose Jaw for them. And I loved the result! CJ and Paige rocked the photos! So romantic! They looked like a Disney prince and princess in the trees. (No birds, mice, or other little forest animals helped to carry Paige’s dress train – although CJ rocked that part!)
Once photos were done we headed back to the greenhouse for their reception. I’ve visited the Windmill Greenhouse many of times when it had their flowers for sale, but wow, it looks so beautiful in there with Paige and CJ’s reception decor! I have a weak spot for succulents and they used a lot of them in decorating. Paige even had a few in her bouquet and CJ had one in his boutonniere.
Congrats again Paige and CJ! I wish you all the best! And I can’t wait to see you and your family grow! 🙂
The ceremony details were so perfect for this greenhouse wedding! Yup, you guessed it, so many beautiful greenery and succulents! The cutest was this little old bike that had a sign that said “going to the chapel” and then on the other side of the sign said “just married”! Adorable right?!
Down to Walkamow for photos of the two love birds!
Back to the Windmill Greenhouse for their beautiful reception!
