“A celebration of us.” I asked Mat and Andrea what they wanted their wedding day to be about, and this simple statement was it. And all throughout their beautiful fall wedding day in Regina, Saskatchewan, it was a celebration of Mat and Andrea! From the pre ceremony details (“nerdy” suspenders, pieces from board games, and paper flowers from their fav books), to their first look (where Andrea’s dad stood in front of Andrea while Mat turned around and sure made everyone chuckle), to their favorite colors (red and blue), and finally to their reception table details which was themed after all their favorite things.

There were so many details in Mat and Andrea’s wedding! They “DIY”ed so many parts of their day! Andrea and her bridesmaids bouquets were made out of pages of their favorite books with pins/earrings that have meaning and represents Andrea’s interests! Mat and Andrea also created 13 different table center pieces that represent them as individuals and as a couple. They were so fun! There was everything from Harry Potter, Star Wars, books, computers, Disney movies, Mexico and more. It was such a conversation starter for all the guests.

Mat & Andrea are big into games, at their reception they had a table full of a variety of games that their guests could play through out the evening! How fun is that?!

But more than all these super fun details was the love between Mat and Andrea! I loved it how Mat rubbed Andrea’s hand during the vows. I loved how Andrea gave such caring looks to Mat throughout the day. I loved how their families and friends talked so highly about them! The whole day was such a celebration of Mat and Andrea and it was such a joy to be apart of and photograph!
