Kirsty and Brandon’s summer engagement session was so perfect because they brought me out to Kirsty’s childhood farm south of Moose Jaw! I love it when couples want to incorporate locations that are special to them. So to be invited out the Kirsty’s parents farm was so much fun!
Brandon and Kirsty met in high school and have loved each other ever since! Brandon proposed to Kirsty on Christmas Eve with a handmade Christmas ornament ring box that he made himself! It’s so cool! They brought it along to their session and we just had to get some photos of Kirsty’s ring in it. You just have to scroll to see it!
We ventured all over the farm at some of Kirsty’s favorite childhood locations. They hung out with the horses, played in the wheat field at sun set, sat on the swing surrounded by beautiful flowers, and danced down the gravel road. Kirsty and Brandon even added extra variety to their session by having a variety of outfits! I loved it that they had a casual and formal outfit!
Kirsty and Brandon both have laid back personalities and a love for animals and the outdoors. They have a golden retriever named Molly who had to get in on a few photos. They constantly support each other and push one another to do better.
I can’t wait to get back to the farm to photograph their wedding next summer! Until then, take a peek at Kirsty and Brandon’s engagement session on the farm!
