In June I went out to the Mortlack area for a family session and on the way home I did some location scouting for up coming sessions and came across this amazing little “forest” in the middle of the flat Saskatchewan prairies! So I hopped on my Instagram stories and showed the beautiful trees and mentioned if anyone wants a session out here to message me! Well Kristin messaged me and wanted to do a Mother and Son session before her maternity leave was done.

I met Kristin and Daniel out in the “Sk Forest” (yup I named it that because it really does look like you are in the forest up north! haha!). They were soooo cute! This session was so special because I know what it is like to have a child and be the one behind the camera. Kristin said the same thing. So to have Kristin in front of the camera, enjoying her time and having fun with her son was so special and important!
