Moose Jaw’s Main Street was a buzz of activity on July 4 – 6 with Moose Jaw’s annual Sidewalk Days! Local shop and vendors line the street to share their businesses with the community of Moose Jaw. Plus there were tons of yummy food trucks with yummy food, and a kids area full of bouncy castles, games and more! If you missed it this year, be sure to watch out for it next year!
This year I had the honor of taking some photos for Joe’s Place. You will remember that this past New Years I volunteered at Voltage (youth chem free party) that Joe’s Place put on and it was fantastic! So when they asked me to come for a few hours to take photos of character with kids I jumped on the wagon! You can see the Voltage Skit here and the events here.
Both days I was there it was fantastic! It was great to see kids of all ages come up and want their photos taken. Yes, even a few of those “young at heart” fans wanted their photos with the characters! There was a wide variety of characters ranging from Star Wars characters, to Marvel with Ant Man, Iron Man and Black Widow and more! I have to admit, I didn’t know all of the characters that I took photos of, but what I did know was this …. the kids that wanted their photos taken sure did know them and were soooo excited to see them!! It was so much great to see their faces light up, or shy away when the characters would come close.
Check out a few of the photos I took the two days below. But if you want to see all them them, be sure to check out Joe’s Place Facebook page that myself and others took of the event!
