How often do you update your family photos?  I love updating our family photos every year!  I am one of those people who loves sending out family photo Christmas cards each year!  And I love receiving photos from family and friends and covering my fridge with their images.  Anyone who has been to our house will see that our fridge is always full of beautiful faces of family and friends!  I love looking at my support system and it is a way to remind me to think and pray for them often!

When I am asked to take family photos for my clients, family and friends, I am so honored!  I get to be apart of the process to get their pride and joy onto the fridges and walls of their loved ones.  Plus I get to meet and hang out with some pretty remarkable people!

This spring I had the chance to take Trevor and Rebecca’s family photos!  It was such a fun session for me for several reasons.  One, my hubby and Rebecca went to school together.  (Gotta love small towns!)  Second, this family was so goofy and had so much fun together.  It’s so awesome to have the chance to photograph this sort of love!  And third, I put out a call that each family session in April and May I would donate half of the session fee to a past clients, Jen and Jamie’s IVF fund!  From one family to another family – that is what this support system we call community is all about!  If you want more information about the IVF fund for Jen and Jamie check it out here!  And there is still time to book your family session for May and half of the session fee will go towards Jen and Jamie’s IVF fund!  This next photo is one Rebecca wanted to recreate.  At their daughters newborn photos the 3 older boys did a pose like this.  So it was fun to recreate this image!  And it’s one I hope they recreate for the rest of their life!  hehe!  🙂
