Family Farm Elopement // Dakota + Brian
When Dakota messaged me and asked if I would photograph her and her fiancee Brian’s farm yard wedding out by Briercrest, SK which included her daughter and their parents, I was beyond excited! First, I love photographing weddings, no matter how large or small. Second, I love photographing weddings on farms! Since growing up on a farm it always reminds me of home. And third, Dakota said there would be a few surprises for her daughter and parents. What were those surprises? Well you will have to keep on reading and scrolling though the photos!
Dakota and Brian were married on June 23, 2018. The weather was looking like it was going to rain and Brian and Dakota’s dad were stalking the radar to see if we could do the ceremony and photos outside. It made for some great SK sky photos! But we were able to do everything outside just before it down poured!
It was an amazing day full of some priceless expressions (from those surprises!), love and smiles! Thank you Dakota and Brian for including me in this amazing day! And congrats to you both and your new family!

The first surprise was that Brian wanted to tell the world that he officially adopted Stella!
The second surprise was telling Stella that she is going to be a big sister! First photo was her just smiling with the sign…she had no idea what it said. Second photo was of her reaction when her mom told her the big news! Best reaction ever!

Yup! Twins! The parents were soooo surprised!! I would be too if I found out that news!!
