Have you ever wondered what your proposal looked like? Well Derek and Shania never have to wonder because they have it in photos!!

Derek and I meet a few weeks before the proposal and figured out where he was going to pop the question, the best lighting, where I would be, etc and it worked perfectly!

He planned to propose down along the river in Walkamow one beautiful weekday morning. They went for a bike ride and stopped in front of this beautiful tree! (Which I have seen a few times, and have always wanted to take photos at!) He asked, she said yes, and then after their moment, we did a little engagement session to celebrate!!

Thank you Derek for asking me to capture this amazing moment! It was sure special and I will for sure remember it for a long time!

This was my first proposal that I have had the honor of photographing and I have to say my heart was pounding and my hands were sweaty! Haha, guys, no wonder you are nervous! 🙂
